Timeline: roughly 1-2 month

Goal: The client wanted me to design a logo as well as a journal book cover highlighting “Light” which is the whole theme of the project. I was given specific information that the client wanted on the logo and book cover including text and visual elements that would make them cohesive.

Solution:  When it came to designing, I brainstormed what elements described light and sketched out designs in illustrator. I later came up with the decision that the focus was going to be the sun for both the logo and book cover, using gradients to a sunrise background. I updated the client from time to time, listening to feedback on what they liked and disliked during the process while making updates towards some creative briefs. I also created mockups on t-shirts, hats and a billboard so the client could see visuals of what the brand would look like including usage ideas.​
